Product Overview
The Steel Roof Sheet Coil Slitting Cutting Machine (also known as a Rotary Shear or Slitter Line) is an automated industrial equipment used to longitudinally shear metal coils. Driven by motors, parallel shafts equipped with circular blades roll and precisely cut wide steel coils into multiple narrower strips of required widths, preparing them for the subsequent roof tile roll forming process.
This highly integrated line combines mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. It typically utilizes PLC control, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and frequency converters to ensure high-precision and efficient shearing operations.
Core Components
- Hydraulic Loading Car: Assists in smoothly loading heavy steel coils.
- Hydraulic Decoiler (Uncoiler): Expands internally to firmly support and release the coil.
- Bridge Table: Guides the material smoothly into the main machine.
- Slitting Main Machine: The core shearing unit featuring precision-machined housings, upper/lower shafts, and circular blades that are heat-treated, ground, and chrome-plated.
- Scrap Rewinder: Collects the edge waste generated during shearing.
- Hydraulic Tension Stand: Maintains constant tension on the strip during slitting.
- Hydraulic Recoiler: Neatly rewinds the slit narrow strips back into rolls.
- Discharge Hydraulic Car: Assists in unloading the finished rolls.
- Electrical & Hydraulic Control Systems: The central automation hub for the entire line.
